About me

Hello there everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Leona, I am currently 29 years old and I was born and raised in Scotland.

For the past 17 years I have been battling with an autoimmune illness called Crohn's Disease which is a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (not similar to IBS). Crohn's has done a lot of damage to my body over the last 17 years, I lost my large bowel, rectum, the ability to eat normally so now I have a tube that goes directly in to my stomach and my teeth.This illness has also tried to end my life on a couple of occasions but I kicked it's big fat butt and won the battle. 

As if physical health problems weren't enough I also suffer with depression and anxiety.

I really hate being a sick person but if I didn't have these health problems I probably wouldn't have discovered my love for blogging, makeup, SFX makeup and fashion.

As well as my love for blogging, makeup and fashion I also love, horse riding, photography, music, cooking, baking, books, animals, gaming, and anything that gets my adrenaline pumping.

I aim to post as many blog posts as I can but sometimes my health can become very rubbish so there might be periods where their isn't that many blog posts.

Hello my beautiful friends, I hope you are all having a lovely Friday. A few days ago I found out that Hourglass are going to be releasing 7 new eyeshadow palettes so I thought to myself I should share these details with you all.  Each of the palettes is going to contain 5 eyeshadows and will have a mixture of shimmer and matte shadows. From the picture's that I have seen the palette style is exactly same as the Ambient Lighting and Ambient Lighting Blush palette, the price of eyeshadow palettes is also the same as the Ambient Lighting palettes, $58.   The palette's... . Hello everyone and a bit about me

Hello my beautiful reades and welcome to my blog. For my very first post I thought why not introduce myself and tell you a bit more about myself. So my name is Leona, I am 26 years old and I was born and raised in Scotland. Unfortunately at age 11 I was diagnosed with an incurable illness called Crohn's. :( I hate being a sick person as my severe form of Crohn's has affected the way I live my life but without it I would never have discovered my  love for makeup, fashion and blogging. :)  I think the reason why I love makeup and fashion so much is, it lets my creative side come out plus sometimes it is the only way to make myself feel better when I am ill. I would really love to become a professional makeup artist and one of the things on my to do list is to attend the Illamasqua Professional Make Up Artist course.  I aim to post as many blog posts as I can but sometimes because my health can become very rubbish I have to spend time in hospital and there is no wif

Steam Autumn Sale Haul

Well hello my beautiful friends how are you all doing today? Well for this blog post I thought I would share with you my purchases from the Steam Autumn Sale, which happend back in late November (yes, I am late again).
